It took me forever to make this measly little button, and for awhile I was afraid it wasn’t going to be finished in time for BBAW. I’m just not good at this stuff–maybe I should buy photoshop or something similar. Do any of you have photoshop? If so, is it user friendly? Is it made for people with single digit IQ’s, like me?
Older daughter’s boyfriend calls it the KKK button, but believe me, that was not my intention! It is rather elitist, though, and it’s also a plug for my humble website. I’m nothing if not a snob and an opportunist!
I created this to show my favorite bloggers how much I appreciate them. A long time ago, I told Devourer in the comments section of one of my posts that she was one of the Kool Kids of the blogosphere, and the idea stuck with me. BTW, I am a photoshop user. Photoshop Elements is a cheaper (around $70) than full fledged Photoshop and easier version of to learn. Check out http://www.photoshopessentials.com/ for tutorials.

Oh, this is so kool! And you’re definitely kool for coming up with such an excellent concept. ok so, I suck at computers, like majorly, and I’m trying to put the button in my sidebar but it is saving to my computer as bitmp or something and wordpress will not allow me to use that file type …. how do I fix this? I really want to display it… help!!

Heather, if you have Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, you can open a .bmp and resave it as a jpeg and then WP will accept.
There might be easier ways but this is what I know…
